This book (reprinted 2019) – with 569 footnotes and over 400 hyperlinks – provided the first ever overview of the green economy in Ireland. It was acclaimed as an essential information source for project promoters, investors and climate change stakeholders. It was peer reviewed by eight of Ireland’s leading experts in climate change and the green economy. All the sub-sectors that comprise the green economy were assessed in detail. The evidence pointed to potential public and private expenditure over a decade of over €80 billion.
